This week Chris Waidner who lives on 2B Road near Bremen was back before the Marshall County Drainage Board with a proposal to fix his drainage problem.
Earlier this year Waidner asked the Drainage Board to fix a collapsed drain in his yard and relocate the drain that runs under his garage. The board looked at several options and determined the cost exceeded the benefits so the project was not completed.
Waidner came back to the board this week and proposed installing 377 feet of 24 inch dual wall pipe with two new structures and having the County Highway complete about 130 feet. The project would begin at the pond and terminate on the east side of the gravel drive located northeasterly of him residence.
The drainage board was receptive of the plan and accepted a petition to put the drain on maintenance.
