Members of the Marshall County Council will meet Monday morning, August 13th at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
Agenda for the meeting includes Sheriff Matt Hassel with a report of the jail population and a request to waive probationary pay for an employee.
Jason Peters Supervisor of the County Highways will updated the council on the summer road program progress and he will seeking an additional appropriation of $300,000 to continue with the 2018 road program.
Newly hired Plan Commission Director, Ty Adley will ask the County Council for additional items in his 2019 budget while Ward Byers from Community Corrections will discuss the 2018 salary ordinance and the Fiscal Year 2019 Community Correction Grant.
Also on the council’s agenda is additional appropriations and transfers, the 2019 meeting schedule and an appointment to the Bremen Library Board.
The County Council meeting is open to the public although comments and questions are limited to the first order of business.
