About 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, four fire departments responded to a structure fire on 5C Road.
The initial call was for the LaPaz Fire Department and the 911 call was that the house was on fire. LaPaz immediately called Polk Township for assistance and then the Bremen Fire Department. Plymouth’s Fire Department was also called to assist.
Plymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller told WTCA the first started in a car that was parked inside an attached two car garage. Because of the fast response, firefighters were able to contain the fire in the garage.
Chief Miller said damage was also contained to the garage with some minor smoke damage to home.
According to Marshall County GIS the home at 14549 5C Road is owned by Daniel and Cathy Fogle.
