MugSHot_Childers, JosephA Plymouth man was arrested early Saturday morning after police were dispatched to 610 East LaPorte Street twice within 30 minutes.   25 year old Joseph Ryan Childers of the 900 block of West Jefferson Street was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Strangulation, Burglary resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Trespass and Battery by Bodily Waste and held on a $10,000 cash bond.

About 12:30 Saturday morning Plymouth Police were dispatched to the East LaPorte Street home for an unwanted guest.   Arriving they found Childers inside the residence and verbally trespassed him from the property.

Thirty minutes later at 1:05 AM, city police were again dispatched to East LaPorte street address for an unknown problem.   The 911 Dispatch Center was only able to advised police that the caller said to hurry.

City Officer Chris Miller arrived at the residence and made contact with the female caller at the front door who appeared to have been severely battered by above subject.

County units in the area located Joseph Childers shortly after the incident in the area of 808 West Garro Street and took him into custody and transferred him to the Marshall County Jail.
