With the kids going back to school and college the Plymouth Park Pool will be reducing its hours of operation and gearing up for the end of the summer swim season.
The Plymouth Pool will be open Wednesday, August 8th, Thursday the 9th and Friday, August 10th from noon till 8 p.m. On Saturday, August 11th and Sunday the 12th and again Saturday, August 18th and 19th the pool will be open from noon till 6 p.m. The week of Monday August 13th through Friday, August 17th the pool will be open from 4 till 8 p.m. The last day will be Sunday, August 19th.
Monday evening, Allie Shook, Recreation and Pool Director presented member of the Plymouth Park Board with a daily count of activity at the pool. More than 8,000 swimmers were at the Plymouth Pool during this year’s summer swim season from June 4th to July 30th. The pool was only closed one day, June 10th although there were two days when they had no swimmers. The largest capacity day was on June 10th when the attendance was 408.
