Round Up CASAOn Tuesday, July 24, the Marshall County REMC Operation Round Up board awarded CASA of Marshall County $1,000 to redesign a professional looking, mobile friendly website.

CASA is an organization of trained volunteers who work with abused/neglected children who have been declared in need of services by the court system.  These trained men and women from the community spend time with the child, talk to those involved in the case, and share their findings and recommendations with the judge.

No special background or education is necessary, but training is provided to become a CASA volunteer. To find out more, contact Chastity Keller – CASA of Marshall County, 211 W. Madison Street, Plymouth, IN 46563, 574-935-8723.

The Operation Round Up program allows Marshall County REMC members to reach out to worthy causes in their community and work together to help others. Thank you to those members who participate in Operation Round Up and to the Marshall County Community Foundation for making these donations possible. You have helped donate $98,000 to organizations in the community!

If your organization would like to apply for an Operation Round Up grant, please contact Marshall County REMC at 574-936-3161 or visit www.marshallremc.com.
