Foker PosterThe Marshall County Historical Society is hosting a driving tour in Argos featuring the amazing stonework of early 20th century stonemason and resident, William Lake Foker, on Sunday, July 29 beginning and ending at the Argos Community Park.

Enjoy the unique artistry of Foker’s cut and uncut stone creations on the porches, chimneys and foundations of historic homes in Argos from the convenience of an open-air tram.  Trams will be leaving for each 90-minute tour at 2:00, 2:30 and 3:00 PM from Argos Community Park at 560 W. Walnut St. in Argos.  Tours will be leaving from the north end of the park (closer to the Marshall St. entrance).

Tickets for the Argos Foker Tour are available at the Marshall County Museum, the Argos Public Library and on the day of the tour for $10 each, or $20 per family (children 6 and under are free).  For more information contact the Marshall County Museum at 574-936-2306 or the Argos Public Library at 574-892-5818.
