The Northwest Indiana Triathlon Club will once again hold the Northwest Indiana Triathlon hosted by Ancilla College. The event will take place Saturday, July 7, and proceeds from the race benefit Ancilla College.
This is the second year for the event which uses the campus at The Center at Donaldson surrounding Ancilla College. The course for the event is a 500 yard swim – 11 mile bike – 3.1 mile run. The race has a limit of 200 participants. Online Registration will remain open until 6:00pm EST on July 6 or until the race reaches its limit. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Registration is available online at www.thtiming.com. The entry fees are $60 for individuals and $30 for relay team members (relay teams can consist of 2-3 members).
Awards for the event will be given to Overall Male & Female Finishers, Overall Male & Female Masters, Top Relay Team, and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. All participants will receive a finisher’s medal.
Ancilla College, founded in 1937, is a small, private, liberal arts school offering associate degrees in over two dozen academic programs and intercollegiate athletics at their campus near Plymouth, Indiana. Ancilla is a sponsored ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, part of the Center at Donaldson.
