Crash_LincolnHighway_King1First responders were dispatched to King Road and Lincoln Highway Wednesday afternoon at 3:40 for a two vehicle crash. 

Crash_LincolnHighway_King3A red Jeep Cherokee driving by 59 year old Darlene Riewoldt of Bourbon was stopped at intersection of King Road and Lincoln Highway preparing to proceed southbound on King Road when she advanced into the intersection striking a silver Dodge Neon. 

Crash_LincolnHighway_King2The Dodge Neon which was traveling eastbound was driven by 21 year old Ashley Halsey of Plymouth. 

The impact caused Halsey’s neon to travel off the roadway and strike a utility pole. 

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and airbag deployment. 

The front passenger of Halsey’s vehicle, Alexa Kviz had to be extricated from vehicle and transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. 

Darlene Riewoldt was taken to Plymouth Hospital to be treated for unknown injuries. 

Ashley Halsey sustained no injuries. 

Assisting on scene were Marshall County Police, Plymouth Fire & EMS, ISP, and DNR.
