On Thursday, May 24th, just before 11:30 in the evening, Marshall County Officer Wozniak conducted a traffic stop and investigation in the area of US 31 and 5A Road.

A silver, 2000 Mercury passenger car was stopped Officer Wozniak utilized his K9 partner Irok around the vehicle.  Irok showed a positive indication for the odor of narcotics.  A search of the vehicle resulted in the findings of 7.5 grams of methamphetamine. 

The driver of the vehicle, 41 year old Philip M. Stotler of Bourbon was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Dealing in Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine.
