HotAirAffair_Boys and Girls CLub 2016The Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County regretfully announce the resignation of Billie Treber as Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club effective May 25th.  The press release says, “Billie has made this very personal decision to pursue the next chapter in her career, and we sincerely hope she achieves the perfect work life balance.”

Treber has been with the club for 17 years and has played a critical role in the development and success of the organization.  The press release says, “Her dedication has resulted in evidence-based outcomes, creating positive benefits for the youth of Marshall County.   Billie has lead a dedicated team, each of whom will play an integral part as we move forward as a successful organization.”

Over the next few months, the board of directors will be conducting a search to find the new Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County.  During this transition period, it will remain the board’s priority to find the best individual to lead, while still maintaining a stable and effective organization and environment for the youth. The release states, “If is due to Billie’s many contributions to building the Club, and the team who works here, that we feel confident in our ability to have a successful transition.”

The press release goes on to say, “We cannot thank Billie enough for her dedication, passion for the youth of Marshall County, and enthusiasm she had given the Boys and Girls Club over the last 17 years.  She has placed us in a very strong position for future growth and we sincerely thank her for that.”

In closing the press release says, “We look forward to following the success of Billie’s next career and are hopeful and excited for the next chapter of the Boys and Girls Club.  Together we can continue to support our community and youth.”
