ND Coach Muffet McGraw to throw first pitch of the season

SOUTH BEND, Indiana (April 3, 2018) – The South Bend Cubs have announced their first homestand schedule of the 2018 season, which includes the first of three Bark at the Park games, where fans are invited to bring their dogs to Four Winds Field. This homestand also includes College Night at the stadium.

All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online at SouthBendCubs.com or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.

Saturday, April 7, West Michigan Whitecaps, 7:05 p.m.

Home Opener Promotions:

—Gates open at 5 p.m., pre-game concert by Southern Straightaway

—First Pitch: Muffet McGraw, Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Notre Dame, approximately 6:45 p.m. ET

—Pint Glass Giveaway: First 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a South Bend Cubs pint glass

—Magnet Giveaway: First 1,000 fans receive a South Bend Cubs 2018 magnet schedule

—Balloon artists and other surprises on the concourse

—Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV

—Fireworks Extravaganza: Begin immediately following the game

—Gates open at noon

—Pint Glass Giveaway: First 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a South Bend Cubs pint glass

—Sundae FUNday: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session

Monday, April 9, Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

—Gates open at 6 p.m.

—Bark at the Park: Bring your furry friends to Four Winds Field for a night of baseball.   Owners must fill out a waiver prior to entry.

—Dog Bowl Giveaway: First 750 fans through the gates will receive a South Bend Cubs dog bowl

—Poster Monday: The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a free South Bend Cubs poster

—Belly Buster Monday: All-you-can-eat hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn with the purchase of an $8 wristband. (Offer must be purchased with game ticket.)

Tuesday, April 10, Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

—Gates open at 6 p.m.

—Two-Dollar Tuesdays: This week, fans can enjoy $2 game tickets

Wednesday, April 11, Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

—Gates open at 6 p.m.

—Giveaway Wednesday: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a South Bend Cubs pint glass

—Silver Slugger Day: Any adult age 55 and older can purchase a ticket for just $6

ThursdayApril 12, Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

—Gates open at 6 p.m.

—College Night: College students receive $2 off game ticket with student ID

—Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 domestic 16-ounce draft beer and regular 22-ounce fountain sodas all game long

As a reminder, the gates open two hours prior to the first pitch for all FridaySaturday and Sunday games throughout the season. The 1st Source Bank Performance Center will be open during home games for all ticket holders.
