Annually, Marshall County Tourism (MCCVB) has allocated funding for the marketing, development, and hosting of events exhibiting positive tourism potential to Marshall County. These funds are to assist qualified organizations with the promotion of tourism activities striving to directly increase hotel/motel occupancy and create positive image building publicity for Marshall County.
New for 2018, the Marshall County Tourism Marketing Grant Application has been established to support marketing projects that utilize marketing tools to attract visitors from outside of Marshall County to experience a Marshall County community, a special aspect of Marshall County ect. These criteria are not date specific. $10,000 will be awarded on an annual basis. The program offers a non-matching grant for requests up to $2,000. The Marketing Grant will be offered once a year. The grant can be used for such things as advertising, printing, website development, and promotional expenses that bring visitors to Marshall County and encourage overnight stays.
