MugShot_Alyssa MadsenOn Sunday, December 31st, 2017 at 12:25 AM, Marshall County Police Officer Wozniak was dispatched to the area of US 30 and State Road 331 for a disabled vehicle in the roadway.

Arriving on scene the officer found a black 2012 Ford passenger car sitting in the passing lane.  The vehicle was disabled due to a slide off accident.  The driver of the vehicle, 24 year old Alyssa N. Madsen of Crown Point was found to be operating a vehicle over three times the legal limit of alcohol. 

Madsen was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more and Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
