Lincoln seventh takes win
WALKERTON – Lincoln’s seventh grade basketball team traveled to Urey and took a 37-31 win.
After three quarters tied 25-25 with the Red Storm coming out in the fourth with a little run coming out victorious.
Balanced scoring from the Red Storm was again the key to the win. Nolan Bales lead the team with 10 points. Roman Snedeker added nine of his own, while Davis Wray and Easton Strain both chipped in seven. Brock Jensen had two points, and Timmy Wakeland and Trey Hall each added a free throw. The Red Storm look to continue their win streak as they host Indian Springs.
The B team also was victorious in their game winning 29-20. Again good ball movement and defense helped the team win.
Shane Abberger lead the team with nine points. David Mathison and Michael Sheely both chipped in five points. Dillon Davidson had four, and William Gamble, Matthew McCrum, and Carter Snyder each had two. The B team is still undefeated and has a couple weeks off before hosting Milford on Dec. 4.
