Lady Chargers take road win
CHICAGO – The Ancilla women’s basketball team is now 6-1 after beating Concordia 95-50 for their fourth win in a row.
Sophomore Brynda Krueger was the standout of the night with 26 points, nine rebounds, five assists, four steals, and three blocks. Fellow Sophomore Shae Daniels had a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Krueger and Daniels were two of five players in double figures; Karson Williams with 13, LaRae Rascoe with 10, and Khalilah Abdullah also with 10.

The Lady Chargers were up 26-4 at the half, the biggest lead of the night. They shot 45% from the field as a team.
“I was very pleased with the way the players overcame the many distractions we had to get this win,” said Ancilla coach Tom Robbins. “We approached the game the right way and built our lead throughout the game and won every quarter.”
The women’s basketball team will be at home at the LifePlex on Friday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.
