Riverside takes wins
PLYMOUTH – The 5th Grade boys basketball team was back in action on Thursday at home against Walkerton and rebounded in a big way. The Rockets put up 20 points in the first quarter, and never looked back, winning 37-4.
Jack Christiansen had a big game, putting up 14 points and was followed by Malachi Sieh with 8 points. Mason Bales played well all around, and had the court vision to help assist the high scoring leaders.
In the B game, Riverside came away with the win, 25-0. Aiden Sauer led the way with 6 points, but the scoring was well balanced, as Troy Hundt, Luca Giordano, Miles, Barger, Juan Mendez, Kaden Milliser, Ryan Manns, and Jaden Yates all scored.
Both teams are scheduled to play on Monday at home against Culver starting at 5 p.m.
