arrestsTuesday evening officers with the Plymouth Police Department was asked to assist an off-duty Indiana State Police Trooper at the intersection of Michigan and Washington Streets.

The ISP trooper was dealing with two subjects who brandished a knife and made threats to the victim. Both subjects, 32 year old Duane Nathan Longacre of Plymouth and 27 year old Justin Thomas Haining of LaPaz were found to be intoxicated.

The police investigation showed that Justin Haining was the subject who displayed the weapon and communicated the threats. He was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and also had outstanding warrants through Marshall County. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.

Longacre was charged with public intoxication and lodged on a $1000 bond.

Both subjects were given a court date of November 28.
