Fatal_US30_RR_1Plymouth Police and Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident on US 30 west of Oak Drive and east of the railroad tracks l about 6:15 Tuesday evening.  The driver of one of the vehicle died at the scene.

Fatal_US30_RR_pickupMarshall County Coroner John Grolich said, “It appears that 64 year old James R. Michael of Lucerne, IN was east bound on US 30 in a pick-up truck when he had some type of medical emergency.”  The truck he was driving drove through the median, had minor contact with the rear of a west bound semi and then drove down a steep embankment on the north side of US 30 coming to rest on its tires about 50 feet off the roadway.

Fatal_US30_RR_SemiMr. Michael was pronounced dead at the scene by the County Coroner.
