MugShot_Devon ZillmerOn Tuesday, August 29, at approximately 9:35 p.m. a Marshall County Deputy was dispatched to the area of East Shore Drive at Dill Street in Lake of the Woods in reference to a report of a Jeep SUV in a ditch with no one around it.   While the officer was still in route the caller advised that a gray van had pulled up to the Jeep and was attempting to drag it away.

When Deputy O’Neal made the scene he found the van and Jeep parked in the middle of Dill Street with a male subject standing next to the vehicles.

The subject was identified as 35 year old Devon Zillmer of Bremen.  Zillmer continuously disregarded the deputy’s orders to keep his hands out of his pockets. When the deputy attempted to check him for weapons he pulled away and threw an object into a nearby tree-line. A short scuffle ensued between Zillmer and the deputy.

The deputy was able get Zillmer into custody and he was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for resisting law enforcement and obstruction of justice. He was given a bond of $2,000.00.
