Alley Stop Sign_1Dawn Seifer, a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church asked the Board of Public Works and Safety to install a stop sign at the intersection of two alleys.

The alley lies between Baker Street and Franklin Street and where the two converge at the north end is a blind corner.  Ms. Seifer said she had a close call there and suggested the stop sign to help with the issue.  A couple members of her church have had accidents at the intersection.

Mayor Mark Senter and Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt went to the site and looked for a solution.

After talking with the property owners and trimming the city will consider adding a stop sign at the intersection.
