police-pursuitTwo juveniles led police on a high speed pursuit early Sunday morning through two counties.

About 12:30 on August 27th, Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger attempted to stop a red Dodge Durango on State Road 331 at 11B Road.  The driver had several traffic violations.

The vehicle pulled off to the side of the road, turned around and led police on a 14-mile pursuit into Kosciusko County with speeds of about 110mph.

Police deployed stop-sticks at US 30 and 350 West and the vehicle ran over them.  The pursuit ended on 200 West just North of Fox Farm Road.

Two male juveniles from South Bend were taken into custody and Officer Geiger found that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of South Bend.

Bourbon Police were assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Winona Lake Police Department and the Indiana State Police.
