On Thursday, August 17, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Officer Les McFarland with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of East Shore Drive and 3A Road, at Lake of the Woods. During the traffic stop, it was found that the driver, 18 year old Bethany Detwiler of Bristol had a suspended driver’s license with a prior.
Bethany Detwiler was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Driving While Suspended, Prior. The bond for Bethany Detwiler is $750.00. A case report is being completed to be forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor`s Office for review and formal charges being filed.
