Plymouth City Engineer Rick Gaul presented members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety with a listing of proposed fall street and sidewalk projects.
The first 13 projects are part of the city’s 2017 Community Crossings grant application.

Gaul said the fall contract would also include several street projects that are still in the design stage along with miscellaneous paving projects in the cemetery, Young Amphitheater, Hoosier Old Wheels trail, Airport parking lot and Street Department front drive and lot. The city engineer said plans are to start as soon as possible after the grant is awarded or the other projects are bid and proceed as long as the weather is favorable, into mid November. Contractors will be notified that road surfaces must be replaced and temporary striping in place before winter. The remainder of the project will be completed in the spring with a May completion time line.
