Plymouth_Airport_building             Tom Flynn told the Plymouth Board of Aviation Commissioners that he was looking to leave the board.  While he did not present a formal resignation, he told the board that he would resign as soon as Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter found a replacement on the board.  Flynn presented new airport manager Bill Sheley with a several pictures to hang on the walls.

The airport engineering firm reported that the taxi way repaving was nearly complete with Walsh and Kelly finishing the project almost $3,000 under budget.

The Airport manager told the board that the tractor they have been using to cut the grass is on its last legs.  The tractor has been repaired twice by the manufacturers service center this spring.  The airport rented a tractor for $1,040 this year to do the mowing but that tractor was returned when the old one was returned.  The old tractor has broken down twice since then and been repaired by the Plymouth Street Department.

The high grass has resulted in wildlife problems.  In the two weeks since Sheley took over as airport manager coyotes have killed two deer on the property, which causes vultures.  The birds are a danger to airplanes.
