Courthouse Winner.IMG_8351The winner of the Courthouse Art Project, Jude Phillips was announced Saturday at the Art in the Street event. Jude Phillips pastel was the judges first choice rendering of the Marshall County Courthouse. The judges shared, “this was not easy, each could have been the winner, we usually make definite and quick decisions, but we had to deliberate in this case”. Her pastel will be hung at the Indiana State Bar Association location in Indianapolis along with the other 91 county painted courthouses (50 are now on display). The other four paintings entered by our local artists are for sale to the community. They will be on display at the Visit Marshall County location through July 1. They will be on display at Heartland Artists Gallery from July 5 through July 29. We have excellent artistic talent in this County and surrounding area!
