Kirsten Kalene Ganshorn, 17, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 in Warsaw, IN from an automobile accident.
Kirsten was born August 23, 1999 in Bremen, IN to Christopher and Tracey (Duke) Ganshorn and lived at Koontz Lake for four years, coming from Argos. Kirsten would have been a senior at Knox High School and had been accepted into the SCILL Program for certified nursing assistant. Kirsten aspired to be a registered nurse. She was currently a hostess for Lake House & Chubby Buddies BBQ.
Survivors include her mother, Tracey (James Weiler) Ganshorn of Koontz Lake; her father, Christopher (Natashia Burkett) Ganshorn of Argos; sisters, Ashlae (Dustin) Manges of Nappanee, Breanne Ganshorn of Florida and Katrina Bradney of Tennessee; brothers, Thomas Green of Argos and Kyle Pilarczyk of Koontz Lake; several grandparents and great-grandparents; her boyfriend, Tristan J.D. Minzey of Koontz Lake; and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Central Time) at the Koontz Lake Association Clubhouse. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Children at 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707 or you may donate in Kristen’s memory at shrinershospitalsforchildren.org
