Illegal Possession of a syringePlymouth Police were dispatched to the Northgate Trailer Park on Tuesday, June 6th just before 11 a.m. for a suspicious vehicle.

Officer John Weir observed two males standing next to the vehicle with the front doors open.  The pair told police it was friend’s vehicle and they were charging their cell phones.

Officer Wier walked his K9 partner, Jax around the vehicle and he indicated the presence of some type of narcotic.  A search was conducted and syringes were located on 37 year old Jeremy Yates of Mishawaka.

Yates was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
