County Building_2Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi will be at the County Council meeting Monday morning seeking their appointment to the City Economic Development Commission.

The City of Plymouth first established the commission in 1973 and the most recent activity was some financing in the 1990s.  While the current membership includes Dave Morrow, Mike Miley and James Vinall Sr. the city attorney can’t find any record of who nominate them.  While their terms expired in 2015, under state statue they are hold-over members until their successors are appointed.

Along with this appointment the County Council will hear a request of Linda Rippy from the County Museum to have the probationary period waived for a new employee.  The only other agenda items are transfer requests and additional appropriation requests.

The County Council meeting is open to the public although comments are questions are limited to the first order of business at the meeting.
