The Plymouth 9th Grade Boys Basketball team traveled to Valpo on Saturday for a tough non conference matchup.  The Pilgrims started slow, going down 8 to 0, but battled back to get within 2 at halftime.  The third quarter ended up being the decisive quarter as Plymouth was outscored by 10 and ultimately lost 48 to 33.  Plymouth played hard and battled but just couldn’t get some shots to fall.  Kam VanLue led the Pilgrims with 8 points, Brady Hissong added 7, and Tommy Dolan chipped in 6.  The loss moves them to 10 and 7 on the season.

The Plymouth 9th Grade Boys Basketball team hosted Laporte on Monday in another non conference game.  The Pilgrims started strong, held an 11 point lead at halftime, and never trailed in a 44 to 28 final.  Leading the way for Plymouth was Adam Hunter with 16 points, Tommy Dolan added 10, and Joe Barron played a great all around game with 4 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and took a charge.  The win moves Plymouth to 11 and 7.  They now host Northwood on Thursday at home in the first round of the NLC tourney.
