On Wednesday, January 11 the Lincoln Junior High 8th grade boys basketball team hosted a tough Knox team. In a game that would be decided in overtime, the Red Storm jumped out to a 10-6 lead in the first quarter. Knox would make the adjustment and tie the game going into halftime. In a back and forth second half, Lincoln would miss the final shot in regulation to leave the game knotted at 25. With about a minute to play Jake Reichard would find an open Jaret Brown who netted the go ahead three pointer to make the final score 30-27 in a Lincoln victory. Leading scorers were Jake Reichard with 8 points, Drew Harrell with 7 points, Ivan Winkle with 6 points, and Jaret Brown with 5 points. Lincoln closes out the regular season on Tuesday against Warsaw Edgewood.
