EconomyInnAn investigation by the Department of Child Services last Thursday, December 15th at the Economy Inn resulted in the arrest of four individuals.

Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman and Detective Leo Mangus were assisting DCS with their investigation about noon and found four children in room 242 with no adults present.

During the investigation officers went to 209 in an attempt to locate the father of the children.  They located four males inside along with a green leafy substance and a white powdery substance.

Arrested was the father of the children, 36 year old Thomas Quinn, 18 year old Christopher Rice, 26 year old James McMichael Jr. and 26 year old Robert Adams.

Quinn was charged with Possession of Marijuana.  Rich was charged with possession of marijuana and visiting a common Nuisance while McMichael was held for Possession of Methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance and Adams was booked in for visiting a common nuisance.

A case report will be sent to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s office for possible additional charges.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
