The Plymouth Walgreens Store is collaborating with Vote&Vax.org, in providing voters at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Plymouth the opportunity to get a flu shot.
Founded in 2008, Vote&Vax.org allows access to the flu shot to more Americans by allowing them the opportunity to get a flu shot before or after they vote. Influenza is the fifth leading cause of deaths in older adults age 50 or older, providing a flu shot at a polling place allows many older adults the opportunity to get protect from the flu virus.
Walgreens will have a registered pharmacist and a certified pharmacy technician available on November 8th from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., at the Knights of Columbus, to give all voters the opportunity to get flu shot.
