domestic+violenceMonday morning just after 4 Plymouth Police Officers responded to the Economy Inn on North Michigan Street for a physical domestic fight.

Officers located 27 year old Joshua Hopper and a female in room 244, arguing in the presence of their 2 year old son.

The investigation showed that Joshua had battered the female by grabbing and shoving her. He also allegedly held her around the neck until she could not breath and hit his head against hers.

The female went to the hospital due to her injuries. Joshua Hopper was taken to Marshall County Jail and booked in on a charge of Domestic Battery in the presence of a child a level 6 felony. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

He will appear in Marshall Superior Court II for his initial hearing on September 20th.
