Walsh and Kelly began work on the 2016 Street and Sidewalk program on Monday with concrete removal in Fairfield Court on the city’s west side and Memory Court near Plymouth High School. Replacement of the concrete is scheduled for Tuesday. Concrete removal will happen on Tuesday and Wednesday on Plum Street with replacement planned for Wednesday through Friday.
Milling project get underway on Tuesday with work at the airport and in Centennial Park. Wednesday mill work continues on park roads and Memory Court. On Thursday Walsh and Kelly will mill off the road surface on Nutmeg Road and Fairfield Court while Friday’s work is on PIDCO and Saturday the will work on North Plum Street.
While part of the Walsh and Kelly crew will be milling this week, right behind them another crew will begin laying pavement. Wednesday’s work will be in the park while Thursday they have scheduled Memory Court and Nutmeg Road. Friday they will complete Nutmeg Road and do Fairfield and Saturday road surface will be placed on PIDCO.
Drivers are urged to avoid construction areas. If you must travel in the areas where roadwork is going on please be patient and understand there will be a possibility of delay or detours.
