Last week the Plymouth Park Board opened the lone quote for staining and painting at the Young Amphitheatre and River Park Square.
Schoberg and Schoberg of Plymouth was the company to provide a quote for the project that Park Superintendent Mike High called “labor intensive.” Hite said the wood at the amphitheatre will be stained including the stage area, light towers and concession stand. The metal trim on will be painted.
In River Park Square the stage, pergola, benches and tables and chairs will be stained along with the benches in the South Gateway.
This is a time sensitive project and must be completed before Encore’s Music in the Park summer series.
The quote was not to exceed $22,799 and is in the 2016 budget.
The Park Board motioned to have Superintendent Hite review the quote and move forward is the quote meets the specifications.
