The PHS Girls Swimming and Diving team on their first victory in 4 years. The 18 girls filled the pool and raced Northwood with heart and determination.Taking first for the girls were Jessica Drury in the 200 IM, Devin Britton in the 500 free, and Lauren Wigand in the 100 breaststroke. The 200 free relay team of Leah Smith, Sydnee Smith, Stacy Ramos and Wigand also took first. Adrianna Lowry had personal best times in both the 200 IM and 100 breast. Other PB’s for the girls were Ramos also in the IM, Drury in the fly, and Wigand in the breast.
On the boys’ side if things, the 200 medley relay team of Alex Vancza, Daniel Stauffer, Kirk Hettich and Trevor Grimmett took 1st. Hettich also won both of his events, 200 IM and 100 back. Grimmet won the 50 free with a lifetime best time. Leon Wolf swam a personal best time by 8 seconds in the 100 free.
