The Lincoln Junior High 8th grade boys basketball team hosted Warsaw Lakeview on Thursday night and put on a dominate performance after a lackluster effort on Wednesday night.  The Red Storm jumped out early and never looked back after leading 26-2 at half time.  Kendall Himes scored 15 points in a 39-17 win over the Tigers.  Lincoln is now 5-4 and will travel to Valparaiso for the Ben Franklin tourney on Saturday.

 

The 7th grade Lincoln Red Storm A team defeated Warsaw’s Lakeview Tigers for the second time this season, this time at home by a score of 42-27.  The Red Storm were led by Ivan Winkle with 14 points and Jake Reichard with 11 points.  Collin Mills added 7 and Daniel Bacon scored 6 for Lincoln.  The Red Storm have won all three games so far this week and are now 8-1 on the season headed into a competitive 4-team tournament this weekend in Valparaiso.
