Summer FestThe annual Bourbon / Triton SummerFest will be held this weekend in the Bourbon City Park on East Sunset Street.

The festivities kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday with a parade through town.  At 12:30 registration starts for the Cutie Contest.  The contest is for ages 4 and 5 who live in the Triton School District.  At 3 o’clock is the Twinkie contest and Quentin Flagg will perform outside on the stage in the park at 8 p.m.

Activities conclude on Saturday with an ice cream social at the elementary school just before the big fireworks show at dusk.

SummerFest continues in Bourbon on Sunday with the American Legion Post 424 Ladies Auxiliary breakfast from 8 to 10 at the park pavilion. 

Sunday activities also include a Cruise In Car Show with registration from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. with awards at 4 p.m.  There’s a beautiful baby contest at 1 p.m. and registration starts at 12:30 and then Tip The Cup game. 

Bourbon SummerFest will have vendors, rides and games on Saturday from 10 to 10 and on Sunday from 10 to 4 at the park.
