arrestsOn Thursday evening February 12th troopers with the Indiana State Police conducted a criminal patrol in Marshall County.  The Plymouth Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, and Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office also participated in the sweep.  Several traffic stops were conducted during the evening in and around the Plymouth area for suspicion of drug activity.  During the traffic stops several arrests were made for drug related violations.  The following arrests were made:

Dorsi Cooper, age 20, from Walkerton was arrested for possession of two or more precursors with the intent to manufacture and for possession of meth.  He was held on a $1,505 cash bond.

Skylar Daniels, age 23, form LaPaz was booked into the Marshall County Jail for possession of two or more precursors with intent to manufacture.  He was held on a $3,005 cash bond.

David Hickman, age 40, from Bremen was arrested for possession of meth, possession of marijuana, operating while intoxicated endangering a person and operating while intoxicated on a schedule one controlled substance.  Hickman’s cash bond was set at $1,505.

Penny Burke, age 53, of Knox was booked into the Marshall County Jail for possession of two or more precursors with the intent to manufacture and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.  Her bond was set at $1,505 cash.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
