SPEEDWAY, IN – Speedway High School senior Kylie Greubel recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play softball at Ancilla College.

Greubel, an outfielder and pitcher, enters her second season on varsity for the Sparkplugs. Last season, she hit .333 with a .461 slugging percentage. Gruebel is also a member of the Mafia Fastpitch organization. This fall she hit .385 while earning a .811 OPS and stealing seven bases.

“I loved the small school and friendly atmosphere, as well as the great nursing program,” said Greubel.

“Kylie has a heart for the game and will bring a scrappiness that I love to see on the diamond,” began Ancilla coach Scott Reese. “My expectation is that she will add depth and consistency to our outfield, both defensively and offensively. I am glad she has decided to become part of the Ancilla softball family.”

While at Ancilla, Greubel plans on beginning her degree in Health Sciences on her way to a Nursing degree in the future.
