FlynnSean Flynn – 2nd Lt. in one of the armies heavy armor divisions and son of Dan Flynn of Plymouth and Sarah Klein Flynn of Fishers – was greeted with yellow ribbons on his return home for a short leave. Flynn is a graduate of West Point. He and his fellow tankers are tasked with protecting the port of Kuwait, and after his first deployment he came home over the 4th of July holiday weekend for a short leave to see family and attend the wedding of close friend Sam Faulstich.
“He always comes here (St. Michael’s Cemetery) first when he comes home to see his grandparents,” said Aunt Kathleen Flynn Fox.
Ribbons waited for Flynn at other stops on his route – three other Flynn family homes – as he visits father Dan and sister Mary Kate.
Mary Kate joined her Aunt on Thursday as they decorated her brother’s route home.
“It’ll be great to see him he hasn’t been home since Christmas,” said Mary Kate.
