Spring Break is almost here and the Plymouth Public Library Children’s Room is planning a variety of programs for next week.   Activities will take place in the Laramore Meeting Rooms.

On Monday at 10 kids can make a hanging chicken mobile.  All supplies will be provided.

At 2 o’clock the activity includes a presentation by Midwest Assistance Dogs and visit by “Duke” a chocolate Lab assistance dog.   He will help kids realize how important a trained dog is to a person with disabilities.  The Shanks will tell children how the dogs are trained and cared for and how they assist the hearing impaired and those with special needs.

Tuesday, March 25th at 10 the craft activity will be making a paper plate dream catcher.  All supplies are provided.  At 2 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer John Weir and his K9 partner Jax will do a 45 minute program.  Jax is a 3 year old Belgian Malinios who responds to commands in the Dutch language.

Wednesday is Movie Day.  At 1 p.m. a family friendly movie rated G will be shown. The movie is 84 minutes in length.  Popcorn will be served at no cost.  Participants can bring a beverage from home or purchase on in the snack room.

Thursday is a fun afternoon of color and shape bingo at 2 p.m.  The kids will enjoy playing this game and there are lots of fun prizes to win…
