03/07/14 Indiana State Senator Randy Head recently said, “All children deserve a safe, loving and permanent home.” This legislative session, lawmakers are working with Governor Mike Pence to achieve this goal by making adoption more affordable for Hoosier families.
The Indiana Senate and House of Representatives are currently considering House Bill 1222, which would provide families a tax credit of up to $1,000 per adopted child. This 
credit is intended to help offset the expenses of adopting a child.
