01/24/14  Twenty-one single family homes were issued permits from Plymouth Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds in 2013. 

Renovations topped the list of permits last year with 41 while 31 electrical permits were issued and 28 additions.  The City Building Commissioner issued 22 accessory and 22 sign permits in 2013 along with 20 fence permits, 10 decks and 7 porches.  Other permits issued included 7 demolitions, 6 roofs and 6 news construction, three foundation, 3 pools and 3 temporary signs. 

Two handicap ramps were built, along with 2 carports and 2 build-outs last year.  The city issued 1for a tank, 1 for a parking lot, 1 for plumbing, and one for site work. 

The estimated value of the projects associated with the 241 permits issued (95 commercial and 146 residential) was $14,261,484.79.  Revenue generated from the actual cost of permits was $57,301.40.  

Taking a look at the comparison with 2012 Year End Report, 235 permits were issued with an estimated construction value of $12,786,502.38.
