12/20/12  Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels stopped in Plymouth at Christo’s Family Dining about noon on Wednesday.  Traveling in his old campaign RV from the Statehouse in Indianapolis to Elkhart, Daniels is making one of his final stops before leaving office on January14th at starting his new job as President of Purdue next year on the 15th.

Dubbed “RV One,” the recreational vehicle is being donated to the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart. Staffers from his two campaigns wore team shirts as they left Indy with “The Final Mile” printed on the back.

RV One has visited each of Indiana’s 92 counties at least five time since his first campaign trek in 2003 and racked up tens of thousands of miles.
