DONALDSON, IN – The Lady Chargers regular season record moves to 5-4 and MCCAA 0-1 after dropping an away match to Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Coach Singleton commented, “Tonight was a game of highs and lows. We had spurts where we played solid but then times where we made several unforced errors in a row; which is a huge momentum swing within the game.”
Jessica Moore (Walkerton, IN) and Kaylia Richardson (Indianapolis, IN) had solid nights contributing 19 kills.
Singleton added, “Also, up to this point our Lady Chargers had rallied to win most of the long points against other opponents, tonight that was not the case. As a team we struggled handling KVCC quick offense and were late getting to blocks.”
Ancilla will travel to Winona Lake, IN where Grace College JV Classic will be hosted on September 8thand their next home match September 11th 6:30p.m. against conference opponent Muskegon
