DONALDSON, IN – The Lady Chargers volleyball squad improved their record to 5-3. Coach Singleton enthusiastically stated, “Keri Friend (Rossville, IN) did an outstanding job on defense and Kristen Trudell (Horton, MI) did an awesome job setting the ball tonight. Jess Moore (Walkerton, IN) had 9 kills.”
The Lady Chargers won 25-18, 25-15, and 25-15 over Grace College JV. Ancilla will travel to Winona Lake, IN where the Grace College JV Classic will be hosted on September 8th.
Singleton concluded, “I felt the girls played together and it was a great team win and effort.”
The Lady Chargers play next at Kalamazoo Valley Community College tonight. They have their next home match September 11th 6:30p.m. against conference opponent Muskegon.
