Last night in Boys Soccer,  the Argos Dragons defeated the Plymouth Rockies Soccer team 8-1.   Argos played a controlled game from the outset.  Dragon Forward Zach Stockman scored the “hat trick” with two of those goals coming in the first half.  Argos improves to 5-1 on the season, Plymouth falls to 2-5-3 and travels to Caston tonight.

 

Once again a dominate performance by the Plymouth Boys Tennis team.  They defeated Bremen 5-0.   Gabe Vervynkt (SR), Tom Felke (jr), and John Hunter (fr) all won in singles play.  #1-Doubles tandum of Matt Flynn & Jack Holloway won in 2 sets.   Seniors Kameron Eisehour & Kendell Fosler (#2-Doubles) won in 3 sets.   Plymouth now 7-2 on the season.

 

Last night the Lincoln and Riverside Red Storm had their opening season meet against LaVille. Both teams were excited about the first meet! This year the Red Storm has over 60 runners and teammates did a great job cheering on the runners. For the girls, Rachel Crawford took first place with a time of 12:46, with Kaitlyn Carothers (13:06), Tia Freshour (13:06), and Kyndel Grove (13:52) right behind her in second, third and fourth place. Alyssa Solis, Mercedes Bastardo, Katelyn Magee, Rachael Dodson, Katie McCormick, Emme Listenberger, Lexi Ramirez, and Ally Dolan were close behind in eighth through fifteenth place. The Red Storm girls won the meet 18 to 41.

For the boys, Jeffrey Oliver led the way for the Red Storm in 3rd place with a time of 13:00, with Daniel Stauffer (13:21), Jordan Morrow (13:40), and Micah Calhoun (13:48) close behind in fourth, fifth, and sixth place. Kelvin Mercer, Isiah Batta, Zach Moser, Isa Frias, Shane Pursch, Chris Noodwang, and Kane Young were close behind. The Red Storm boys won the meet 25 to 34 and many personal bests were seen tonight!

 

The Lincoln 7th grade football team beat Boston Middle School from Laporte 12-0 on Wednesday night. The offense scored on a 1 yard plunge by Kaden McCrammer in the 1st half and a 35 yard scamper by Quarterback John Shenk in the second half. The defense pitched a shutout on the strength of 6 turnovers from Boston.  McCrammer and Zane DeVault both picked off Boston passes while Hurford,  Scurvin, Masson, and Hayes all recovered fumbles. Nate Lafree was a defensive standout forcing two fumbles with several tackles for loss. The 7th grade team plays next on Saturday at Northwood at 9AM.
