ROOTSTOWN, OH – Rootstown High School’s Mike Conley has signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Ancilla College starting in the fall of 2012.
A 6’0 guard, Conley was named All-Northeast Ohio Division III 2nd team and All-State Division III Honorable Mention last season. He also earned All-Portage Trail Conference 2nd team honors and was his team’s most valuable player.
Conley plans on pursuing a degree in business while at Ancilla.
“This is a great opportunity for Mike,” said Rootstown coach Steve Beshara. “He appreciates another chance to play basketball, be part of a team, and continue his education.”
“Mike is a great fit for Ancilla,” added Ancilla coach Greg Neeley. “His toughness and ability to shoot the ball will be a great asset for us.”
